Congratulations on the birth of your precious child!
We are very happy that you are planning to have your child baptized and look forward to welcoming the child into our faith community. This is an important event in the life of your family, and we hope to make it as meaningful as possible.

Confession / Reconciliation
Confessions after daily Mass, 4:00 PM on Saturdays and Tuesday evenings during Holy Hour – 7 PM to 8 PM
First Communion
Children/youth who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist are required to receive instructions for two years, previous to receiving the sacraments.

Confirmation
Youth go through a two-year process, after which they may receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 10th grade or older. All high school youth in Confirmation preparation are required to attend a retreat each year, and offer 20 hours of service.

Adults — If you are a Catholic Adult and have not received the sacraments of 1st Eucharist and or Confirmation or also needing Baptism, please call Deacon Scott Wall at 619-798-0499 (texting, messaging, calls) or email him at swall@omcsandiego.org.
Marriage
Couples planning to be married at Our Mother of Confidence please call the rectory at (858) 453-0222 at least nine months prior to your wedding to begin preparations. One of the priests or deacons will discuss with you all the necessary activities to prepare for the celebration of this sacrament.
Anointing of the Sick
After the First Friday Mass at 8 am the priest will offer the sacrament of the anointing of the sick for anyone who wishes to receive it, or you can call (858) 453-0222 to make an appointment for this sacrament.
