The Knights of Columbus sponsored blood drive is this coming Sunday, June 3, in Our Mother of Confidence Church parking lot at 3131 Governor Drive, San Diego (University City).

When scheduling an appointment online, visit www.sandiegobloodbank.org

1. Click on “Donate Blood Today”

2. Click on: “Search” Black tab on right side of screen

3. Select 06-03-2018 as the Date Range and then “Apply”

4. Scroll down to Mobile Drives for Our Mother of Confidence Church, click on “schedule”

5. Click “Donation Times” to select an available time slot. Or, you can simply use this link (https://www.mysdbb.org/#/ScheduleAppointmentStep2/drive/36662) to schedule your appointment and follow step 5 above.

The following time slots are still available: 8:15am to 8:25am 8:45am to 8:50am 9:10am to 10:20am 10:30am to 10:35am 11:10am to 12:35am 12:45pm

Other information: Earn points every time you donate. Points can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards, movie tickets and much more! Also, donors will receive a coupon for one of the Knights of Columbus buffet breakfasts over the next 3 months. These breakfasts (an $8 value) will be on 6/10/18, 7/1/18, and 8/5/18.

Donors are advised to drink plenty of fluids prior to donation. Maintain usual eating habits on the day of donation, avoiding fatty foods if possible. If you have a tendency for low iron in your blood, eat a box of raisins about an hour before your donation.

All donors must show picture identification.
