Dear Parishioners, 

 

As we begin this Easter season, we reflect with solemnity on the passing of Pope Francis, whose soul now rests in God’s hands. In the recent conclave, guided by the Holy Spirit, the Cardinals chose a new shepherd for the Church, and with great joy, we welcome Pope Leo XIV. In the Diocese of San Diego, we have bid farewell to Cardinal McElroy, now appointed Archbishop of Washington, D.C. We continue to pray for him and for Bishop Pham, who serves as Diocesan Administrator while we await Pope Leo XIV’s appointment of a new Ordinary for our diocese.
